I Found Myself The Day I Decided To Lose Weight Fast

As a child I loved the sugar, I had sweetened cereals, toast with caramel on it, freshly squeezed artificial fruit punch. I do not blame my mother. It was what all mothers feed their children. Nobody knew the possible side effect of a diet deficient in nutrients. In fact, I think many people still to this day do not understand. All most of us want to lose weight fast.

We are motivated to lose weight, whenever we decide to get on a diet. But what happens, we fall off the wagon and we get more and more discouraged each time. We have not even noticed any other “symptoms” of being overweight. We do not learn what nutrients our body needs to survive. We are given / taught daily food guide, but not much else and because we think the magic pill to lose weight fast exists, we don’t worry too much about it.

Let me paint you a picture. You get a brand new car. You like the way it drives. It is so good that you can barely hear the engine. Have you ever tried to restart a new car because you do not think it was on? I did. I had my first car nearly 10 years. And to keep it in good shape, I serviced it regularly: I learned that I had the oil changed, I needed to get spark plugs changed, and service my breaks regularly for security. As the car aged, it did not run as smooth as it used to, a bit of rust has begun to reveal itself on the outside.

One of my friends who had the same car, but hers worked a little better, lasted a little longer. The reason: her husband was an avid car guy and he knew a little more (ok a lot more) about cars than I did. He was a passionate amateur mechanic.

You may wonder what this story has to do with weight loss. Not much actually. However, what I want to show you is that the more we know about the “mechanics” of something, the longer that something will last. The same is true of our body.

You should know that an oil change gets rid of the oil as we hear about the benefits of having this done on advertisements all the time. Good quality oil extends the life of your vehicle as does using premium gas. Well, our bodies, including our brain are no different. Natural weight loss should come rather as a side effect of maintaining our body with premium fuel that no magic fast weight loss pill can do.

Going back to my childhood … Eating loads of sugar, empty carbs, and chemically enhanced or modified proteins is not considered premium fuel. In fact, they are junk foods, foods containing no nutrients. The Food Guide gives a balanced diet as consisting of four food groups. But enriched oat cereals are not a source of grain, French fries are not really a vegetable and milk with strawberry or chocolate syrup will not help you develop healthy bones.

What these foods are preventing our bodies to function at their best. And one day, we are looking for that magic diet pill to lose weight fast.

In my case I was in my forties, with 3 kids, and feeling “Forty, Fat and Frumpy”. What happened to me? Is this what getting old feels like? Will I be a couch potato for the rest of my life? I don’t think so….I want to live until am over 80 and that is a long time of flipping channels looking for something to motivate me. I wanted to lose weight fast but did not have the energy to do anything about it. I had cut out the junk food before; I had tried to eat well balanced meals. Why was nothing working for me?

However, one day, I met someone that changed my life. She introduced me to a program that nourished the body while removing impurities. It wasn’t a weight loss program to lose weight fast, but to my surprise that’s exactly what it did. It was all about finding balance within my body by giving it nutrient rich food and getting rid of toxins from the cellular level.

Sure we can limit the impurities, but we can’t stop them all together. Somewhere, somehow we get exposed to pollution and it affects the way we feel and look.

Life does not end at forty. Not only did I lose weight fast, but I found myself in a new way that I share with others who want to lose weight fast. I feel better physically and emotionally. All pistons are firing! I am in tip top shape.
