How Can I Get What I Want In Life?

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

It\’s simple when you know the rules, not so simple when you don\’t. If you do learn the rules and you play by them, you are guaranteed what you want in life. If I asked you why you want anything in life, what would you say? You\’d always come to the same conclusion; to feel better than I do at the moment. You may also be coming to realise that unless you can make steady movement towards what you want in life, you will not be joyful.

The bad news is that you can never regress in life and be a happy person. When you have identified something that you want, you have to move towards that goal or you will feel not feel joyful. Life causes you to expand, to want more, to become more than you were before. You may keep up with this expansion and you may not, it is really up to you. Some go along with the expansion willingly, and live happy lives as a result. Others are more reluctant as they feel the tension between their desires and the life they are living, and they inherently know they should be the expanded evolved person they want to be. If you have powerful desires in life, and fail to keep up with them, you may choose to numb out the pain with some kind of behaviour or substance, or you may choose to end the pain and your life, by checking out early.

Others are convinced that because it feels painful to want, that wanting, in and of itself, is somehow wrong. So they try to reduce their desires. This is an uphill struggle, as life in all of its variety is designed to inspire desire from those who participate in it. It is what expansion of life is all about. These people tend to become resentful at those who want and receive, and always feel a certain amount is missing from their lives as they recognise deep down that they are missing the greater part of themselves elsewhere.

On the whole, people don\’t understand how they get what they get in life, and in their feeling of powerlessness they seek to think their way out of it. They strive to control the circumstances around them, creating rules and laws and trying to restrict the behaviour of others. If people were self-empowered, they wouldn\’t feel the need to legislate against anyone else, as they would understand how everything came to them. You can\’t think your way out of it, you have to feel your way

Furthermore, the only way you can ever come into your own power is by letting go of control of the outside world, its people places and things, and look inside yourself instead to seek control of the way you feel. Many great teachers throughout the ages have spoken of unconditional love, and this is what they meant. Unconditional love says \”I will love (feel good) regardless of what the conditions might be. I will be who I really am and love you, even if you are feeling bad and blaming me or my behaviour for the way you feel\”. Conditional love says; \”I will love (feel good) when you behave in a way that pleases me, but if you don\’t please me, I will disapprove of you and feel bad. It is your responsibility to behave in a way that makes me feel good.\” So how can we practice unconditional love? By focussing in a way that makes us feel good. Seeing things in a kind, loving, gentle light, giving people the benefit of the doubt. By knowing that nobody\’s done anything wrong and that all really is well. By demonstrating the loving person that you really are to the world, and feeling the true nature of your being.

The majority are taught at a young age to pay less attention to their own feelings, and pay more attention to the feelings of the adults around them. This ultimately leads to confusion as the individual becomes unable to guide his own life, as he looks outside of himself for the answers, all of which lay inside him all along. The well meaning adults forgot a long time ago how to live unconditional love and felt that changing outside conditions was easier. Regrettably, this leads people away from the only thing of any importance to them; the way they feel, because it determines their point of attraction in this life. But to get to the place where you can control how you feel, you will need to understand your emotions, what they mean and why they are so important.

So what are the rules of the game of life? Let\’s start at the beginning. How does the world relate to you? How do you get what you get in life? How is it that some people are living lives of great abundance and joy, while others seem to struggle to keep their heads above water financially, and have dissatisfying relationships with almost everyone they interact with, even total strangers? Do I need to buy that new radar detector for my car to avoid getting speeding tickets? It life based on luck? Is it a lack of fairness in the system? Should we take things away from people who have \’too much\’ and give it to people who need it? How can we make sense of such a complicated system without going crazy?

There are so many questions. Where to begin? We need to stop thinking, and start feeling the way to go. Emotions are the key to your life\’s guidance, and few understand the power or the incredible subtlety with which they guide. A correct understanding and use of one\’s guidance will lead to your life\’s desire. Before we talk about emotions, we need to consider what causes them, that\’s right folks, it\’s Law of Attraction.

The Law of Attraction is the manager of all things. All things are vibrational, not just here, but everywhere both physical and non-physical. And it\’s fair to say that if you are going to have a joyful life, you probably would benefit from understanding how it works. Law of Attraction matches up like and like things. The expression \’Birds of a Feather Flock Together\’ is a demonstration of the law. We attract to us things which are of similar essence? But similar in what way?

It you consider your brain as a radio receiver and transmitter, with the ability to tune in to unlimited frequencies. Good feeling happy high flying thoughts have high frequencies and bad feeling, sad, depressing thoughts have low frequencies. When we tune into these frequencies, law of attraction will match us up with the frequency to which we are tuned. Tune to love and see the love in the world. Tune to beauty and see how much beauty there is in the world. Tune to abundance and see the natural abundance in the world. Of course the same goes for the negatives of all of these things, but I wouldn\’t recommend you look for those. It\’s not that these things have been created by your thoughts. They were there all along, it\’s just that you can see them now that you are tuned into their frequency. You have rendez vous\’d with them.

In the real world, how does Law of Attraction work? If I copy successful people, will I become like them, successful? It depends. If the imitation of that person makes you feel like a successful person, then you will eventually achieve success, because law of attraction is only responding to the way you feel. If you act successful and still feel a failure, then the success you seek will continue to elude you until you feel better about your situation. Stop acting, and feel the way you want to feel and let the world respond to your thought vibration.

Gay Vacations: Sites In France

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

Traveling through France on a jaunt across Europe, or as your only destination for gay vacations for singles or couples, France is a trip that everyone should experience at least once. With snowcapped alps, the magnificent French Riviera, world famous art collections, pristine beaches, pastoral landscapes dotted with medieval castles, villages and ruins that tell the story of Frances diverse history, and the truly exquisite cosmopolitan city of Paris, travelers are sure to find exactly what they are looking for when visiting this unique country.

Gay vacations often center around Paris and its vibrant LGBT community, cultural and historical landmarks and accepting cosmopolitan environment, visitors will find that throughout France there is plenty to do and see, as well as many LGBT establishments and a welcoming atmosphere. Laws outlawing sodomy were abolished over 200 years ago and Frances LGBT community has enjoyed civil unions for the last decade. With legal protections in place and a general laissez-faire attitude that is common among the French, visitors will find that France provides an accepting and safe gay tours.

Numerous community events take place across the country throughout the year, including several pride festivals and a very well-attended pride parade and festival and gay and lesbian film festival in Paris. Some unique establishments to check out while in Paris on a gay vacation include the Marais district LGBT-owned bakery, Legay Choc; the ArtMenParis exhibit of all-male images; and Madame Arthur, LArtishow and Chez Michou, three cabarets with female impersonators and drag shows. Paris nightlife is lively, with bars open from afternoon until 2am and clubs opening at midnight, and often staying open until noon.

Men interested in exploring the bawdier side of Paris gay vacations will find that cruising spots, bars with backrooms and sex clubs are easy to find and quite popular with visitors, as well as locals. Saunas, aka bathhouses, are also plentiful; however, they work a bit differently in France than they do in America or Canada. French saunas do not have private rooms, but rather cubicles that are set aside for a bit of privacy, and they are not 24-hour operations. Most of the activity takes place in the afternoon, rather than the evening or night, and Sunday afternoons are particularly popular.

While most gay vacation tour destinations cater largely to men, women will find that Paris has a lively lesbian scene that includes everything from a lesbian walking group to a sex shop just for the girls. The Marais district is the center of LGBT life in Paris, and women will find a distinct Sapphic presence there, with bars and clubs that are located mostly at the south end. Ladies will also find several venues sprinkled throughout other neighborhoods, such as the Halles-Beaubourg, Palais Royal, Grands Boulevards and Saint Germain des Pres districts. There is also a bookshop in the Bastille-Republique district and one of the oldest lesbian bars in the city is located in the Palais Royal area.

Although Paris might be the most visited gay vacation destination in France, many other options are available throughout the country, including Avignon in Provence, Montpellier and Nice on the Mediterranian coast, Annecy in the Alps, Nantes in Brittany and the nude community beaches of Camargue. For those who hope to rub elbows with the rich and famous, Saint Tropez on the French Riviera should not be missed, while those looking for a romantic retreat might opt for an LGBT-owned B … B outside of Bourdeaux. With so many gay vacations in 2010 to choose from, France is truly an ideal setting for gay romance travel.

Australia offers gay travelers a welcoming destination, brimming with activities to suit the whims of any traveler. And that\’s probably the reason that so many gay couples and singles are saying, \”G\’day, mate,\” and making a beeline for this beautiful continent.
